    Join us on this cultural trail as we explore and learn about Miami-Dade County’s rich heritage, historic landmarks, attractions and cultural neighborhoods. The 5 hour guided tour led by Historian and Executive Director of the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater, Timothy A. Barber, will showcase and share with participants a Black Miami Heritage Cultural Experience.

    The tour highlights will include historic sites in Overtown, Liberty City, Lemon City, and Little Haiti along with a self-guided tour of the “Funky Turns 40,’ Exhibit at the Historic Lyric Theater open to registered attendees before and after the tour. Food beverages and unique souvenir items will be available for purchase.
